Thank you for visiting!

I have announced this run for alderman to offer new ideas and solutions. I do not run merely to oppose anyone.  Having shared in the community's struggles, I believe our strongest hope lies in taking an honest look at where we are now and approaching our future with a comprehensive and clear agenda.

That agenda includes my RP 2012 business plan, my ongoing work in health care, and returning to the basics of CAPS problem solving for crime prevention. It includes a serious action plan for education, both locally and downtown, along with steps to deal with property taxes and affordable housing. Our Lakefront and park system are also included.

You will find on this site almost 10,000 words of plans and analysis on Rogers Park. I encourage everyone to examine my proposals closely, and to compare my plans with those of the other candidates. I welcome the discourse this election brings to our community about how we will build our future.

Local issues influence our lives more than almost any other political force. Sound choices close to home will dramatically improve our neighborhood.   I hope you will join me in making these ideas a reality.

Ginderske 2007 has produced a video that documents the threat posed  to diversity by irresponsible development. Your support for Jim Ginderske on February 27th will help to reverse the loss of diversity our neighborhood has experienced over the last four years due to the destruction of our affordable and rental housing stock.
